Location. The Ritz Carlton Naples (Fla.) stands on 20 beachside acres overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, three miles from The Ritz Carlton Golf Resort Naples. A complimentary shuttle to the property's sister resort provides access to a variety of amenities. Upscale shopping is four miles away at Waterside Shops and Old Naples, with dining, galleries and entertainment, is nine miles from the resort.
Hotel Features. A mahogany concierge station welcomes guests into a palatial lobby resplendent with Carrera marble, Palladian windows, antiques and sparkling chandeliers. The hotel offers seven restaurants featuring Caribbean, Italian, seafood and steak selections. Gumbo Limbo Restaurant resides on the boardwalk, surrounded by colorful umbrellas, hurricane lanterns and occasional visits from the resident resort mascot, Gumbo G. Gator. Ritz Carlton Spa is a 51,000 square foot elegant oasis featuring a grand foyer with a three story rotunda and ornate spiral staircase. A spa concierge can recommend more than 90 treatments offered in one of the hotels' 33 treatment rooms. Spa menu items include therapeutic massage, body wraps, nourishing facials and hydrotherapy. The spa's fitness center features a sauna, an aqua facility and steam room. Certified personal training, group fitness classes, and fitness and nutrition evaluations are also available. Four Har Tru tennis courts and a tennis pro provide access to lessons and group clinics upon request.
Guestrooms. The 14 story Ritz Carlton Naples offers 450 smoke free guestrooms featuring hardwood floor entryways, 400 thread count Frette linens and 32 inch LCD flat screen televisions. Select rooms feature private, furnished balconies overlooking the coast or the Gulf. Wireless Internet access is provided for a fee. Marble bathrooms feature lighted makeup mirrors, Bulgari bath amenities and plush terry cloth or lightweight embroidered bathrobes.
Expert Tip. Special events are accommodated in the resort's 3,000 square foot Naples Beach House, a two story facility that features mesquite hardwood floors, Caribbean wicker ceiling fans, shutters and floor to ceiling windows.
